Tiny Houses With Big Windows That Look So Good

------- NEW PODCAST -------

Maria started a new podcast about simple living, faith, decluttering, etc.

Light can make a small room feel bigger. This is essential for tiny houses to avoid the already small space feeling cramped.

Come along with me as I look at these stunning tiny houses with big windows.

Minimalist Room with Long Narrow Vertical Windows

living room with vertical windows

This comfy sofa sits beside expansive vertical windows. The white walls are made of shiplap paneling, and a cozy jute rug is on the floor.

I love that there are windows above the exterior patio roof so that you can see the tops of the trees from the sofa. Through the windows, you can see a darling little garden with a white trellis for privacy in the outdoor space.

All this room needs is some warm lighting, a floor lamp with a low hanging globe would be perfect.

bench by the window

This image shows a similar concept, except the fixed square windows are below the long narrow windows.

This is such a cozy and practical reading nook beside the windows and built-in bookshelf. There is plenty of storage beneath the bench for board games, books or blankets.

I can just imagine basking in the winter sun reading my favorite magazine on this bench.

Window-Wall in Bedroom

bedroom with black framed fixed windows

Here we have a cozy bedroom setting with a modern design.

It features a floating bedside table attached to a wooden headboard beside a beautiful view of the forest outside the window.

The room has a warm and sleek ambiance, perfect for relaxation.

Picture Window in Living Room

bench with book storage by the picture windows

This tiny home design creates a bright and airy living space with a large picture window offering a stunning view of a grassy field.

I love the additional narrow window above the picture window. It lets in more light and is a creative touch to the minimalist room.

Below the window is a built-in bookshelf filled with various books, adding a functional and aesthetic touch to the space.

Daybed Beneath Corner Windows

reading area with casement windows

Here’s a stylish and functional seating area with a focus on maximizing storage space.

The wooden daybed is designed with integrated storage compartments underneath. This under-bed storage is practical for keeping the space organized, providing easy access to reading materials and other essentials.

I think wicker baskets or wooden drawers could also work well under this daybed as you could store clothing, crafts or toys to keep the space clutter-free.

Reading Nook in Glass House

reading area with full glass windows

Now look at this serene reading nook with a striking design. There are asymmetrical window angles that create a unique and dramatic architectural space.

The cozy velvet green bench seat, adorned with patterned cushions, provides a comfortable spot for relaxation.

And below the bench, built-in storage filled with books adds functionality.

daybed with drawers by the fixed windows

This cozy corner in a tiny house features a charming window seat surrounded by large windows that offer an abundance of natural light and beautiful views of nature outside.

The built-in seating includes comfortable cushions and a soft throw, perfect for lounging.

The tiny house design maximizes functionality, making great use of every inch with practical under-seat storage drawers.

The deep window sills can be used for books, ornaments or even as a place to store your coffee mug while you read.

Full Wall Window with Angled Ceiling

daybed with drawers by the fixed windows

This image features an elegant corner in a room with large, floor-to-ceiling windows that allowsfor expansive views of the forest.

The tall, asymmetrical windows enhance the room’s height and create a sense of openness, letting in abundant natural light.

All this room needs is a plush ottoman or coffee table to make the setting complete.

Kitchen with Picture Window and Window Shelf

kitchen with wide window

Look at this bright and modern kitchen space with a large window above the sink. This design allows for ample natural light and a lovely view of the outdoors.

The kitchen features clean white cabinetry with black handles, giving it a sleek and contemporary look. The wooden countertops add warmth and contrast beautifully with the white vertical subway tiles and cabinets

Glass House Bedrooms

bedroom with floor to ceiling windows

This tiny house features a tranquil bedroom with large, floor-to-ceiling windows.

What a showstopper!

The room is designed to blend seamlessly with nature, featuring warm wooden accents and a minimalist bed draped with soft linens and cozy blankets.

I think this room could optimize its functionality by adding storage beneath the platform bed.

Here we have another glass-walled room, this time with a glass ceiling, too! It has totally panoramic views!

What a unique design.

Personally, I would love to stay here for a short vacation rather than live in a space like this. It would need a lot of thought on heating and blinds/curtains.

Cabin-Style Bedroom

bedroom with sliding window and geometric fixed window

This small home features a cozy bedroom with a pitched wooden ceiling and a large triangular window that offers a view of the trees outside.

The bed is nestled against the window, creating a snug, inviting space. The wood paneling and natural light enhance the room’s warm and serene atmosphere.

This bedroom does not have a closet, so I would suggest hooks on the wall, a clothing rail, or pull-out drawers under the bed.

Angular Tiny House Made of Wood and Steel

This multi-level angular tiny house on a beach is a tropical vacation dream!

With windows on all sides, at different levels, and in the loft, you can enjoy the view and natural light at any time of day.

With the opportunity for such spectacular views, I think it was an excellent choice to use simple and muted furnishings. The black, white, and natural wood combo is a timeless classic.

Here is another tiny house with impressive angular windows. The difference here is that this is a single-story tiny home.

This huge window in the bedroom allows you to go to sleep with the stars and wake up to a beautiful sunrise.

I would suggest making sure you have solid block-out curtains if you are a light sleeper, to keep the room dark at night.

Coffee Nook Beneath Circular Window

This charming seating nook beneath a large circular window provides a lush view of the greenery outside. This is the perfect spot for relaxing with a cup of tea and enjoying the view.

The light, airy design, natural wood accents, and soft furnishings enhance the cozy and inviting atmosphere of this room.

Natural Wood Interior with Gray Cabinetry

A simple home can be turned into an impressive design feat with the incorporation of a large window.

While simple, this tiny house is not lacking storage space!

Just look at that shelf with fabric storage boxes and the pull-out drawers beneath the couch.

Large windows in a small house are an excellent idea as the more natural light there is, the larger the space feels.

White Interiors with Light Wood Accents

This open-concept layout includes a compact kitchen with natural wood countertops, open shelving, and a deep farmhouse sink.

Large windows along one side flood the space with natural light, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the outdoors.

I love the long narrow countertop, perfect for a workstation or breakfast nook.

This tiny house has a similar aesthetic to the previous house, except here we see a bold mustard colored couch.

I love it!

The floor-to-ceiling window behind the couch allows for ample natural sunlight to stream through. The height of the window also gives the illusion of a bigger space.

This tiny house has a bright and modern aesthetic. The space features a compact kitchen with a farmhouse sink and sleek black fixtures, and a staircase leading to a lofted sleeping area.

In a small space, light-coloured soft furnishings can help make a space feel bigger and more airy. However, cream and white colored furniture can get dirty quickly.

Sofas with slipcovers, like in this image, are a perfect solution!

In this example, we see a vibrant tiny house interior with a creative use of space and materials.

The living area features a bold red chair and a loft accessible by a wooden ladder, adding both function and style.

All this tine home needs is some indoor plants or small fairy lights in the living room to make the space a little more cozy.

This version showcases a sleek, minimalist design. The kitchen area includes white cabinetry with copper handles, open shelving, and a stylish black faucet, complemented by a dark hexagonal backsplash.

The large windows in the living room meet at the corner, giving the feeling that the space extends out into the garden.

I think the floating shelves that rest over the top of the window are a unique and clever design choice. It gives extra storage space while not blocking the light coming in.

This seaside tiny house is designed to maximize comfort and the stunning coastal view through a large picture window.

The space features a plush leather sofa, a stylish wooden coffee table, and a beachy-themed chandelier that adds a rustic touch.

I love the black/navy and white tile choice around the fireplace and under the TV; it helps create a cohesive theme in the space.

Light and Bright Homes With Angled Ceilings

Here we have a split-level tiny home with a slightly angled ceiling.

This is a really compact space, but the windows all around combined with the white and light wood finishes help give a sense of a more airy space.

If you look closely, you can see that hidden in the staircase are drawers. This is an excellent way of creating more storage space.

Here we have a compact tiny home with a daybed beside large windows.

This daybed is really a three-in-one concept.

It is a sofa, a bed and a workspace. Now that is what I call space optimization.

The minimalist aesthetic, with light wood finishes and a simple pendant light, creates a calm and functional space.

Last on our list is this sleek and modern kitchen in a tiny house, featuring a clean white color palette and minimalist design.

The industrial kitchen island can be used as an extra work surface or dining area.

And I love the unusual geometric stool legs in a gold finish. Small touches like this can make any space feel more expensive.
