You can explore the Indian Ridge Trail that runs directly through the campground, or if you feel like exploring a little further out, you can take your bike or ATV to the Pinnacle Trail or Pocahontas trail.

At the Ashland Resort, 96 full-service hookup RV sites are equipped with 30 and 50 amp electrical connections, and there are tent sites for those without a motorhome. Additionally, these sites include cable TV and limited WiFi connection.

This campground offers many outdoor activities, but it is close to many local attractions popular amongst outdoor enthusiasts. The Pipestem WV RV Park and Campground are situated only a mile away from the Pipestem State Park.

Many areas along the way and surrounding the campground are filled with waterfalls, hiking trails, caverns, caves, forests, and rivers. The Pipestem WV RV Park and Campground have 50 RV and tent sites, with most offering full-service hookups and electrical connections.

In addition to the full-service hookups, the campground also offers campers high-speed WiFi, a convenience store that offers liquor, a  playground, a 24-hour coin-operated laundry, propane sales, and they will soon have a restaurant.

This RV park and campground are also only minutes away from a range of outdoor activities. There is kayaking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, golf courses, and zip-lining.

Should you want to stray away from the campground, you can visit the nearby Organ Caves, Lost Worlds Cavern, Bluestone River, Hinton Railroad Museum, and the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine.

Moreover, campers are not permitted to stay on public hunting lands in West Virginia for more than 14 consecutive days, and camping is not allowed within 300 feet of a fishing lake or boat ramp.
